Going out on the town...

So this weekend Kelly was back in Madison, and we took advantage and hit up the bars two nights in a row. Fun stuff. Friday met Kelly down at Netherworld, and we then hit up some random asian food place on state street. Then we headed to Cuenueq with Johnny Luu and Cotter. Met up with our friends Tyler (and new g/f Rachel) and Trish from back in Waupaca. It was a good time, even if I am just god awful at pool these days. Still was good to see people, as Tyler is headed to Italy next month to go to college for the next year there, if only I had money I'd like to visit.

Saturday, I did the mall walking things with Kelly and Emily. Got measured for a Tux for a wedding next month, and stopped by Mr. Danner's place of employement to get Kel some new body jewelry. Then headed over to Best Buy to stand around and watch Kelly take an hour to pick out a new digital camera. Hey I know these things are investments, but when you've narrowed it down to two camera's after half an hour, I have no idea how it takes you another half an hour to decide between the two. Also picked up the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie.

Headed home and played a game of Ticket to Ride with roommate Jesse, Em, and Kelly, after Kelly took a nap and I played several rounds of Tiger Woods 2004 on the PS. I'm addicted, but I'm still waiting for the new Madden to come out in a few weeks... I won the Ticket to Ride game. Order some Chinesse food, and watched the first half of Willy Wonka before heading out to Brothers downtown. Now I can't say I particularly love Brothers, they play too much Rap music for my tastes, and it's much more a club/meat market than I need, but if we're going to go to such a place, then I'll happily go there, as Jesse used to work there, knows the manager and several of the bartenders, hence our night from 10-1:30 for 5 people drinking plus a few random other people's drinks was a total of $40, should have been like $100 or more. In any event it was good time, a bunch of Kelly's friends came out (good looking women always seem to add to the fun). After Brothers hit up Ian's pizza, of which I had heard about before but never been too, overall not that impressed, but maybe that's cause I wasn't drunk by then.

Yesterday helped Kelly pack a little bit and played some more golf. Then headed out to D&D, which we now have a new group member, in Shady Jared, welcome buddy. Won't see Kelly now for about a month, she's going to be in Orlando for the next week, then in Rochester for most of the remaining weekends till the end of August. What this means to you: I want to playtest and go to some PTQ's. Let me know if you're game.
